Silverskär is a popular location for private weddings, parties and receptions – Here we organize one or several unforgettable days with tailor-made service in beautiful archipelago environment. Daytime receptions can be arranged, as well as evening receptions with overnight accommodation.

The guests are always welcomed to the island in traditional archipelago style with Åland pancake, a glass of snaps and a pleasant mingle on the dock.

Party venue

For festivities and receptions at Silverskär, there are two venues available – Norrgårds for smaller receptions up to 40 attendants, and Ladugårds for up to 100 guests. Ladugårds has also high-class sound equipment.

Genuin food from the archipelago

Here at Silverskär, we consider the meals as an important part of the experience. Therefore we put our souls into the food we are serving. This includes everything from finding the best produce of the highest quality, preparing the food with respect for the produce and also highlighting the heritage and tradition of the meals we are serving to our guests.

Overnight accomodation

When you arrange a reception or a wedding, you also have the possibility to stay overnight. At the the idyllic main island of Silverskär, we are now able to offer 55 beds for overnight stay since our latest project ”Bodlängan” was completed i June 2022. Thanks to this we have increased our capacity for overnight stay with another 6 rooms with private bathrooms.

On top of that, there is also Klobben and Sviskär as other alternatives for staying over the night, which means that we can accommodate up to 100 people at the same time on all of our islands.

Activities for parties and receptions

Would you like to add an activity to your party? We offer a varied range of activities that are perfect for all sorts of festivities. Anything from playful pentathlons to ball games, wine tastings, boat trips, walks in the nature or quiz courses.

A few words from one of our wedding couples!

In June 2022 we got married on the beautiful Silverskär Islands. We had an amazing weekend with all our loved ones.

An amazing weekend like this starts - of course - with a lot of preparation. The staff of Silverskär did an amazing job in the whole preparation, since we did not have to worry about anything: from arranging the pick-up of our guests, table decoration, food- and drinks arrangement and good advice about local flower shops and bridal hair and make-up etc. Also, they invited us to come and visit the island before the wedding to discuss things in more detail. Since we live in The Netherlands, it was really nice to view Silverskar Islands before the wedding an to meet the staff in person.

The weekend itself was also organized very well and we did not have to worry about anything. The food and drinks were amazing and our guests kept on saying how delicious everything tasted. Our guests were also very content with the cabins were they stayed during the weekend. The staff was also very friendly and helpful during the whole weekend. On top of that were the beautiful surroundings (and very beautiful weather!) at Silverskar Islands and there was truly nothing more we could wish for.

We still look back at it with lot of joy and wish we could go back in time to experience the weekend once again. Luckily we still have the beautiful photos shot by our photographer. We highly recommend Silverskar Islands to host your wedding!
